About the Author

Jack Sheehan has written 12 books, among them Buried Lies, Skin City, The Players, Above Las Vegas, Golf Forever, Chicken Soup for the Golfer’s Soul, Embedded Balls, and Living in Cancerville. He has also sold two screenplays to Hollywood, and has produced and written a television magazine series, True Vegas, which he will co-host in 2007. He is also executive producer of a feature film currently in development.

Sheehan has won the Lowell Thomas Award for outstanding travel article in the U.S., the Nevada Screenwriters Award for outstanding movie script, and was named the outstanding magazine feature writer in the western U.S. He lives in Las Vegas with his wife, Carol, and young children J.P. and Lily.
